the turning point

I have decided to start a new blog (grown-up one).

I'm done with xanga--it was a nice experience, but it was a college experience for me. I will post my new blog (the grown-up one) address as soon as it's ready! Be excited!!

Oh, and it may contain pictures of a certain cat who is going to come and live with me on Wednesday!!!!

ps these colors are my absolute favorite together! it makes me feel like smiling to see them.

oh, and hopefully by having a GROWN-UP blog, i will avoid pointless, silly entries like the above one. one can always hope.

happening at work

Me: Sometimes, when I'm at work, I feel like an... well, an Oompa Loompa.

Sara: You know what Oompa Loompas are.... Peons.

It's true.

The Test: Day one

Today is the first day of my experiment, and I am not wearing mascara. My eyes burn a lot--throughout the day. While this may be due to the large amount of computer work involved in my job, I want to rule out a few things.

So if you can't see my eyes in my face, don't be alarmed--I am not wearing mascara.

I designed a label for Harvest Home Farm's maple syrup this weekend. I think it looks pretty cool:

It's about time for the bell

My love for Jim (from The Office) has been rekindled this afternoon, as I have watched nearly 4 episodes.

So has my love for Pottery Barn. The spring catalogue appeared on the table of "research materials" in Creative today. I always knew I belonged over there....
